Real Wedding: Jamie + Wally

When it comes to your wedding day the only rule is – there are no rules! Jamie + Wally got married on Monday August 29, 2016 – yes, a Monday. In honor of their recent one year anniversary we were reminiscing and just had to share the magic of their special day.

You may ask, “why get married on a Monday?” For them “It just seemed like a total no brainer since both of our parents got married on that same day.” What are the odds? Jamie and Wally are two of the most well loved people we have ever had the pleasure of knowing. When your bride comes to you and tells you “we have 12 bridesmaids and 12 groomsmen” your first instinct is to suggest she re-evaluates that decision, that’s a large party! But with these two? It didn’t make sense to not have those numbers. They are truly genuine souls that attract nothing but the best.

Styling this wedding was an absolute dream for us! We had so much fun bringing Jamie’s vision to life and couldn’t be happier with the end results.

One of our favorite moments was when Wally, his mom, and the entire wedding party surprised Jamie with a flash mob dance! They pulled it off so perfectly, and she was beyond shocked!

Jamie + Wally’s vision for a romantic wedding came to life so beautifully at the Old Sugar Mill in Sacramento. The authentic winery was the perfect backdrop for their day – complete with string lights, a sequin sweetheart tablecloth, vineyard views, a reception full of dancing, and so much love. Here we are 1 year later still getting butterflies over it.

Oh and how could we leave this little surprise out…. Jamie had just found out she was pregnant 2 weeks before the wedding! And yes, that was water in her Coors Light can 😉
