Boho-Fiesta inspiration? Yes Please! Maggie + Kyle had their boho-fiesta wedding celebration on June 25th, 2016. In honor of their recent one year anniversary, we just had to share the magic of their wedding captured by the amazing LUMI Photography. The notion of “true love” was designed after these two and helping them create their perfect wedding was something we will never forget!
Their wedding truly blends the two worlds of boho and fiesta complete with a taco truck, multicolored pillows and rugs, and even a #KnutsinLove DIY taco pinata!
When we first sat down with Maggie + Kyle, and asked the age old question, “What do you envision for your wedding day?” When she ecstatically responded with “I’m not sure if this is even a thing, but boho-fiesta!”, we know we had just hit the jackpot! We didn’t want to go too far in either direction so that we could make sure it really was an even blend of the two styles. By sticking to a vibrant color palette and an overall non-traditional vibe we were able to give Maggie just what she wanted. And not to mention, it truly was a lot of fun for all vendors involved!
Our biggest piece of advice for the brides-to-be out there is to not be afraid of going with your gut on style decisions. Just because you haven’t been to a wedding, or seen one on your social media that mirrors your overall vision – does NOT mean it shouldn’t be created. Our absolute favorite DIY element was of course the #KnutsinLove piñata taco. When you get a text from your bride who’s at Michael’s the week of her wedding and needs your help convincing her groom that this is a totally valid addition to the budget, you absolutely have her back!
Maggie + Kyle’s fun personalities, love of tacos, and their love for each other were the perfect platform for a one-of-a-kind wedding celebration. We hope you all loved seeing how the boho and the fiesta were executed in their wedding as much as we did!
